1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Website Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of www.lizlangproduction.com and any related pages (the "Site"), operated by Liz Lang Creative, LLC DBA Liz Lang Production ("Liz Lang Production," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where they live. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

The Site presents information about our production services and a portfolio of past projects. These Terms cover your use of the Site only. Any production services we provide are governed by a separate written agreement between Liz Lang Production and the client.

2. Portfolio Content and Intellectual Property

Third-party works. Much of the imagery and video on the Site (including key art, posters, stills, editorial photography, and motion content) was produced by Liz Lang Production for clients and is owned by those clients, the studios and networks they represent, and/or the credited photographers and directors. These works are displayed for portfolio purposes only, with credits where available. All rights in them remain with their respective owners.

Our materials. All other content on the Site, including text, the Liz Lang Production name and logo, and the Site's design and arrangement, is owned by or licensed to Liz Lang Production and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

No license. Except as stated in Section 3, nothing on the Site grants you any right or license to use, copy, download, or distribute any content. You may not remove or alter any credit, copyright notice, or watermark.

No endorsement. Titles, logos, and trademarks of studios, networks, streaming services, brands, and other third parties belong to their owners. Their appearance on the Site reflects work we produced and does not mean those parties sponsor or endorse Liz Lang Production or this Site.

Credits. We try to credit contributors accurately. If you believe a credit is missing or wrong, please contact us and we will review it promptly.

3. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may view the Site in your web browser for your personal, non-commercial use, or to evaluate Liz Lang Production's services. You may share links to Site pages, provided you do not suggest any affiliation with or endorsement by us.

You agree not to:

  • Download, copy, screenshot for reuse, reproduce, modify, or distribute any images, video, or other content from the Site, including for social media, pitch decks, mood boards, or other portfolios

  • Use any content from the Site to train, fine-tune, or prompt artificial intelligence or machine learning models

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Site by automated means

  • Frame or mirror the Site, or embed its content on another website

  • Represent any work shown on the Site as your own, or misstate your role in it

  • Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt to access areas not intended for public use

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

4. Inquiries and Submissions

Inquiries. If you contact us through the Site, by email, or by social media, you agree to provide accurate information. We use it to respond to you and as described in our Privacy Notice.

No services agreement. Information on the Site, including service descriptions, is general in nature. It is not an offer, quote, or estimate. No client relationship is formed until we both sign a written agreement or accept a written estimate.

Unsolicited ideas. We do not accept unsolicited creative ideas, treatments, or concepts through the Site. If you send them anyway, you agree that they are not confidential, that we have no obligation to review or return them, and that we may use similar ideas developed independently or received from others without owing you anything.

Portfolio and crew submissions. If you send portfolios, reels, or résumés, you confirm you have the right to share them. We will use them only to consider working with you.



5. Third-Party Services, Links, and Privacy

The Site is hosted on a third-party website platform and may link to or embed third-party services, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and video players. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy [link to Privacy Policy], which forms part of these Terms. The Site and its hosting platform may use cookies and similar technologies as described there.

6. Copyright Complaints

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the contact details in Section 9 that includes:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email address

  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed

  3. The location (URL) of the material on the Site

  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law

  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner

  6. Your physical or electronic signature

We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to material where appropriate. Rights holders and clients may also simply ask us to take down a portfolio piece at any time, and we will do so promptly.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

As-is. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that information on it is complete or current.

Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liz Lang Production and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liz Lang Production and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of any content from the Site.

9. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

General. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. We may suspend or restrict access to the Site at any time.
